Hi! I'm moving from a West African secondary school to a British A-level school in Dubai this September, and I was wondering how easy it would be to make friends and whether I might experience any racism. I'm really passionate about law, the arts and reading, and I'm extremely academically driven — but I'm also down to go out and have fun after school and on weekends! It would be fantastic if anyone could offer advice or share experiences from a similar situation.

I plan on studying LLB Law at uni and i am starting A-Levels this year. I plan on studying economics, business and psychology. However, for my 4th A-level (which is compulsory for my school), I'm conflicted between geography (which I'm doing IGCSE level and have gotten consistent 9s in, same with econ) or something new, politics. (To preface, my school does not offer law as an A-level subject). Any contrary opinions or advice?
