How can I befriend my new male and female Japanese quails??

How can I befriend my new male and female Japanese quails??

Hi, thanks for taking the time to help me out.

This is Gamora and Mr Quill ❤, they are about two months old; I got them from a neighbour friend who breeds quails, and added them to my group after one of my females passed away.

I've had them for a long few weeks, and they just dont seem to warm up to me at all. I spend a long time everyday offering mealworms or vegetables from my hand. Sometines they'll see my regular quails eating from my hand and then cautiously join, but usually hop away scared if they get too near.

My quails have adorably come to associate the sound of a crinkling bag with mealworms, so whenever I open the mealworms bag they start hopping around with excitement! These two new birbs don't seem to catch on at all even though I do it EVERYDAY.

Ive made sure there are no stress triggers and they have a lot of stimulation. I treat them the exact same way I do with all my others. What do I do??

Why is my female stumbling and acting weak?

Just a few minutes ago I came to change my quails' bedding.. And one of my females was acting strangely.

She seems very tired and wont move even when my other quails walk past or climbed over her.

Shes not the type to like being touched, and usually walks away, but now she let's me touch her and pick her up without making a sound, like shes too weak to protest.

What worries me most is that when I sprinkled mealworms around - and offered some with my hand - she didn't look interested at all! My quails always jump with happiness for treats, so to see this girl lying down without any interest really concerns me.

She seems to stumble aswell when she walks, and her wings sometimes droop out when she trips. Ive checked her legs, and they seem perfectly fine.

Is this normal sleepiness or is something wrong??

This okay for my three female Japanese quails?

I know, it's a long video!! Dont have to watch it all, Id just love to know how this is overall for my girls.

Theyve become aggressive towards eachother because they had no stimulation, so I had to seperate their cage into three cells using barriers.

Today I finally took away the barriers and gave the cage a makeover!!

I added: some grass over the bedding for more interesting textures, plus logs and rocks, a sandbath (blue box in the corner that theyre OBSESSED with), and I scattered some coriander leaves + mealworms for forraging. Also I added a hide from a tissue box, but now I realise it's too low so I need a new one!

So far they seem very happy and social. I hope it's okay!

Also, I'm looking to add a plant in their cage, but I'm not sure which one. Suggestions, pls.

Thanks!!

Is this okay for my Syrian Ham?

Ive had Whiskey for nearly three weeks, and just changed his cage for the first time. I added a second floor and DIYed the cardboard stairs on the left corner.

Also wondering if his water is too low..?

(The box with food is only temporary until I find a bowl)
