3 defective legion 7s from microcenter
A week or so ago, I bought a legion 7 pro (the AMD model with a 5080, 64 gb eam, and a 2 tb ssd - i think its a microcenter in-store exclusive bc its the same price as the 32 gb ram, 1 tb ssd model online). I have now had 3 successive units fail (they all had some combination of BSODs every few hours, failed testmem5, and a flickering screen) and the sales rep I was talking to thinks their whole stock of this unit has manufacturing defects. Unfortunately, when I gave their repair department the last unit, they said it was an issue with the motherboard and would take a month to repair (bc theyd have to send it to lenovo).
This, however, is not feasible for me because my old laptop bricked itself and I go to school in a week in a city with no microcenter.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue and does anyone have thoughts on what I can do to avoid both the 4 week repair time and ending up with a strictly inferior computer (eg the 32 gb ram model)?
