Tips for dealing with nausea/vomiting on pill?

This is my first go-round with any type of semaglutide. I started the 1.5 mg pill in January with no side effects. On 4 mg and 9 mg I had some occasional constipation and gas that has more or less resolved. I'd also have some intermittent nausea that would pass pretty quickly. No vomiting.

I started the 25 mg and yesterday on day 9 I was out for a walk and suddenly started feeling queasy and then threw up several times. It was a little warm out and I didn't have much in my stomach at the time. It's felt a little dicey since then so I haven't eaten much. I just ate a normal-ish size dinner and I'm sitting with a trash can next to be because I feel like I might throw up.

For those that have dealt with nausea, and vomiting especially, what has helped? Medication? Eating/drinking more/less or at different intervals? Eating/avoiding certain foods? Anything else?

Many thanks

I recently started a new job, and after 30 days I was able to enroll in their health insurance. I have a 30 day gap in coverage from when I stopped being covered by my last employer's plan to when I became covered by my current employer's plan. I'm trying to decide whether to elect COBRA for that 30 day gap. I only incurred a couple hundred dollars' worth of medical expenses during that time. But I'm wondering if leaving the gap could potentially expose me to preexisting condition denials down the road. Correct me if im wrong - it's my understanding that the ACA did away with exclusions for preexisting conditions. But a certain someone likes to threaten to get rid of the ACA. Were that to happen, would I always have to worry about that gap coming back to bite me?
