anyone got sum trick or ideas for gutting these fuckers been beating at them for a day and a half now and still barely nothing i dont have an air hammer nun like that just a hammer and a sharp bar
so i wanna gut the 2 lower cats but wanted too see if it would cause me issues only gutting the 2 bottom ones and not all 4 like would it harm my motor or anything like that ?
so ive been trying too do more research about my temp gauge on the cluster itself and it stays above the half way point but never goes up from there finally was able too get an obd2 scanner and read my temps. after a full day of driving it says its at 188f -190f is that pretty normal was curious so i can minimize stuff out and point the problem too the gauge its self!
my cats are pretty clogged right now so im just gonna say fuck it and gut them is there anything needa do after like with the 02 sensors or just send it im honestly gonna just remove the back side and prop them up and gut them while on the car is it safe too do so ?
im going too attempt too do my lift spacers again on my 98 400 last time i had a struggle getting the front struts back in the car after installing dose anyone have any tips or tricks i could do too make this installment a tad bit easier like what i should losses or take off??
So im on my 98 ls400 my temp gauge tends to sit above the half way point but never climbs and the car runs well no overheating nothing is this something to be concerned about can this be happening because timing and water pump were just done at 307k ?also my gas light comes on when it shows at a half tank
Im new getting in too lexus’s and i wanted more insight. The car has about 310k miles and the water pump and timing was done from what i was told. Is there anything anyone recommends looking besides that before buying the high mileage scared me at first but most say as long as taken care of they are amazing cars. But i still have that slight bit of fear on what else too be worried about down the road it being at 310k like ECU issues starter issues sensors ext. the car dose have a check engine light for the Cadillac converters and did have another for MAF sensor also it starts right up on cold start but struggles a bit too start up after its all warmed up..for 1500$ what do you guys recommend
