as someone with no cooking skills whatsoever, how easy and cheap is to find ready to eat vegan options?

First timer, kind of nervous, thinking about what to pack, prepare in advance.. How much cash do I need in hand, my counselor kind of gave me general answers, so looking for guidance based on experience.
