The bag I chose to keep is the Alter Ego! I debated like crazy, read all the comments and suggestions you guys gave me, and made my final decision.

As bad as I wanted to keep both bags, I just can’t justify it. The maple laurel is a beautiful bag, but I just can’t let this alter ego go!

I’m not sure why I was so worried about the alter ego not being age/career appropriate, but y’all totally talked me out of that and I am so happy to have gotten the response I did.

I’m 32 not dead and there is nothing wrong with a little edge! I also know I shouldn’t base my taste or what I like on what other people might think!

I’m excited to decorate her up and rock her with confidence!

I bought 2 bags from Coach for myself for Mother’s Day, but I can only keep one! Please help me decide!

This will be my first ever coach bag and I want something that will last me and the times. I want a functional bag I won’t regret keeping.

1st off we have the beloved, stylish, oh so popular Coachtopia Alter Ego in the most beautiful checkered print pattern.

2nd we have the classic, chic, down to earth Laurel in maple.

I love both bags so much! They both would serve me purpose and they both fit me based on street style (alter ego) and my business casual style (laurel).

I really like how fun/edgy the alter ego bag is and how it’s outside my normal type of bag, but I also really like how the laurel is toned down and fitting to my professional personality along with day to day routine.

For some background I am 32F, live in a rural area, and work at bank. I worry the alter ego isn’t age appropriate, but I also worry the laurel will just be another a basic bag in my basic purse collection.

Currently, I carry to work a black MK Edith tote style bag and on the weekends a black MK jet set medium crossbody (both gold hardware). I now just want an everyday bag to carry as I’m done switching back and forth on the weekends. I prefer gold hardware, but I am 100% fine with silver on the alter ego.

I need opinions y’all! I’ve got to get a bag sent back Monday!
