Howdy guys, me and a few buddies are taking the boat out to give the Banana river/IRL a try. Have fished it a few times in the past from but not recently. Launching outta Sykes creek.

But in general, how is the bite out there now?
Any baits outside of live shrimp that’s getting ate good?

First year lawyer here. Civil litigation. I rep a big defendant against a pro se litigant. Client didn’t hire us until well after response dead line has passed. I see on the docket that Plaintiff filed a Motion for Default. That same day, I file my response - motion to accept as timely filed - proposed order. I have a conferred called scheduled in 2 days with the Plaintiff so that we can file a joint motion to set aside default if one is entered. Again, no default entered yet.
This is my first time dealing with any default, and my jx requires in person hearings for nearly everything. I’m so worried that they’ll enter default, and I think I’m doing the right things to move it forward - anybody have any experience w this or words of advice?
