When im with my boyfriend and we go to sleep it doesn't however when im not with him and he says he's going to sleep it does

My boyfriend has deleted life 360 and told me it uses up too much storage.... I checked mines and mines doesn't he is also currently out with his friend
I know this comes across as I should trust him thing but it also comes across weird
