Need to set up bilt cash redemption for rent each month?
I have automatic rent payment set up with my building and this month instead of the usual 150 bilt cash it redeems, it redeemed 9 dollars instead for some reason. I reached out to customer service and they said I need to set up the bilt cash redemption each month to get the full rent amount. Is this true? I’ve done the same thing for the last two months and never had an issue.
This is what they said:
“We understand you made a payment on June 2nd for $XXXX and the Bilt cash redeemed was for $9.23. Please keep in mind that to unlock points with Bilt Cash on your housing payment, please follow the steps below:
Head to the My Home tab in your Bilt account
Under BillPay for Home, follow the on screen prompts to get started
When your Bilt card is selected as your payment method click into Using available Bilt Cash
Enable the toggle and exit out
This is a process that you require to follow each time you submit a housing payment through your payment portal to be able to unlock up to 1x Bilt points.”
