How long do you intend on staying on wegovy for? I know some people use it for the rest of their life, but for me I don’t want that (and can’t afford it!)

I’ve been struggling with my weight loss for a while. I’ve been tracking calories and I can lose a certain amount of weight and then I put it all back on again. I actually think I have an issue/bad relationship with food (waiting to speak to a doctor about it).

I’m at the point now where mentally and physically I can’t go on like this. I’m female, 27, 5ft 7 and weigh 223lbs. I think about my weight all the time and it controls my life.

Since the wegovy pill is now available in the UK, I’m considering it. But want to get people’s thoughts & experiences , the good and the bad.

My concerns are getting addicted to it and not being able to come off it and it causing gastro problems. I already use an app to track my calories & macros, which I will stick to when/if I get the pill to make sure I’m getting all my nutrients in.
