Trying to get Dexcom transmitter to read directly on Galaxy Watch7 as a receiver (no cellphone)
I work inside a prison and can’t bring my phone inside, so I’m trying to see if there’s any way for my Galaxy watch7 to act as a receiver. Having a receiver that is always visible on my wrist would be safe and very convenient.
I saw in another subreddit that people are using a watch face to show their Dexcom trend directly on the Galaxy Watch as a widget (I’ll put the links below). I’m trying to figure out how to get the Dexcom transmitter (G6 or G7) to read straight to my Galaxy Watch instead of needing a phone for a receiver. I still have some G6 supplies for now (they'll be discontinued in July), but that can be a temporary option.
Has anyone been able to figure out if / how it's possible?
