What are the steps for starting a new project? Share your workflow

Hi, I'm fairly new to creating my own projects. I often find myself having to restart from scratch or modify large parts of my project because I didn't think about something beforehand.

I was wondering, what are the steps for starting a new project?

I just sketched some rough dimensions on a piece of paper and then started modelling straight away, but I quickly found that I didn't have a complete picture of what I was making. This meant that after a couple of hours, I had to refactor things I had done at the start and restart from scratch a few times.

If anyone could share their workflow or explain how they approach new projects, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

Need help finding an audio solution for my home theater

Hi guys, I'm a complete ignorant in this field so be patient pls,

my current setup is an XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro projector with a 92" Elite Screens manual projection screen.

I'm currently relying on the projector speakers, which, don't get me wrong, I actually think are really good but deserve an upgrade.

The room is pretty big (40 m²), and the screen is positioned in the middle of the long side. In front of it is my bed, and behind it is a bookshelf. This makes it difficult to have floor-mounted speakers and lots of cables, as the screen is usually closed to make it easier to get through.

My questions are:

  1. Is it possible to mount a pair of speakers on the ceiling, one on each side of the projector?
  2. What kind and how many speakers should I buy (my budget isn't crazy high – I'll probably wait for Black Friday)? Should I just buy a pair of speakers, a pair with a soundbar or only a soundbar?
  3. Other than the speakers, do I need to buy anything else, like a mixer?
  4. If so, are there any reasonably priced wireless solutions?

I buy from Italy.
