Why You Overshare with People You Just Met?

Napaisip ko lang na bakit kaya mas madali tayo mag open up (problems natin) sa mga bagong tao or kakilala mo lang instead sa mga friends mo or mga tao na close na sayo?

Is it a bad thing?

People tend to misunderstand me

Problem/Goal: I tend to flip the conversation and create a misunderstanding (through chat)

Context: I notice pag may kinakausap ako sa chat, nakikita nila na masama ang intention ko sa kanila where in fact hindi.

Previous Attempts: Firstly, I had someone ka talking stage for a month. She said na mag meet nadaw kami (Finally). But she hoped that sa Elyu daw. Eh?? Elyu? I’m from Batangas and na shocked ako sa request nya. So I asked her again in a context of repeating the message to make things clear for myself “Correct me if I’m wrong. Elyu tayo mag meet?” Na Nagalit sya sa akin kase parang negative daw ang tone ko where in fact hindi ko intention yun. I’m just shocked kase, hindi ko pa kaya mag elyu that time.

Second, My online friend who cut me off (dahil sa may nagawa ako sa kanya horribly and I truly regret it) who posted sa isang subreddit about he lowkey miss our kalokohan and stuffs said na dmed me. I dmed him with a thought that he wants to rekindle our friendship. But to my surprise, I messaged to confirm if it was truly him but he mis interpreted it of something nag preretend daw ako and me saying “Yo, kumusta” is like kabastusan to him. And he replied “Your pretending like we are cool? your so wierd” My intention is not like that. Since, the convo turned to be like i’m trying to explain that I felt sorry for what I did again. I stopped and said “Anyway, I hope your doing well” and I deleted my account. I planned of not to message him again after that. Napa isip tuloy ako na mas better na I didn’t reach out to him and accept na cinut-off nya ako. I can’t blame him naman sa nagawa ko. Masama pa talaga tingin niya sa akin after months and I though na gusto nya mag rekindle.

So what do you think is my problem? I don’t want to make this same mistakes again
