Im going to college this year as a physics major and need a laptop. I've always been super fond of the xps (dad had an older model) and was wondering if I should get one for my major. I'd be doing a mix of engineering and comp sci, some gaming but not insane. The one I had my eyes on was the xps 14 with the ultra 7, 4050, 32gb ram, 512 gb. Would this be a good purchase or would something else be better?

So im doing kickstart and my freshman year roomies aren't, so would I just switch dorms after kickstart? Also, are the dorms for kickstart triples, singles, doubles, etc?

Hey I'm an incoming student, I was just wondering what things are around slo for fun? I know theres the tri-tip hikes but besides that what are some fun things to do?

As far as I understand it I'd be able to get out two classes, and I have some ap credit that'd help me, but is the whole thing really worth the time out of my summer?
