During cold weather the corners of my lips get cracked and bleed, has happened almost all my life. 4-5 years ago I had a pimple grow right on one corner of my lip and I wasn’t using any sunscreen during this time and was ALWAYS in the sun so it is the only dark mark Ive had that never disappeared just got darker. The other corner is not this bad it’s just dark from the cracking in the winter but this side is just worse bc of the pimple that formed there. Im seeing a dermatologist that I honestly think I should change because she always rushes my appointments and asks the same questions yk? Like she’ll read off her iPad so I never get to say anything beside the answer to her questions. Ive been on tret for two years 0.5 and have started wearing sunscreen everyday since the beginning of this year, was wearing it before too but not as consistent as I am now, but im gonna change to 0.1 tret soon. I’ve tried all the over the counter products but I don’t think this is something that can be removed with a product but if anyone thinks so Im open to all recommendations! Im looking into things like micro needing and chemical peels but as someone who’s very prone to dark spots/sensitive skin Im scared I’d get new marks from the procedures if something went wrong. What should I do? It’s really effecting the way I see myself I never go outside without makeup but it’s getting hot and I’d love to just wear a bronzer and carry a sunscreen stick around to reapply without worrying about smudging my concealer 😭
