The ability to get the perks of the Cruise Privilege Program through your independent travel agent is ending on September 15th. After 9/15 you can only get the perks is booking directly with Amex Travel.

What exactly is changing?
American Express has made the decision to discontinue access to
American Express Travel benefits such as Cruise Privileges Program, The
Hotel Collection, Fine Hotels & Resorts, and Centurion Fine Hotels & Resorts through third party booking channels. However, American Express
Card Members can still receive these travel benefits by booking through
Amex Travel channels. To receive Cruise Privileges Program benefits, clents must book ether via amextravel com or by caling the number on the back of your eligible card. To receive The Hotel Collection, Fine Hotels & Resorte, or Centurion Fine Hotels & Resorts, clients must book via amextravel.com, the Amex Travel App™ orby caling the number on the back of your eligbe card, depending on your eligible Card product.

What if l have a booking made before the cut-off but travel is after the cut-of?

American Express routinely evaluates: its partnerships and distribution arrangements with a focus on delivering differentiated value to our Card
Members while uphalding the highest standards of governance and program integrity. As those standards continue to advance, we are aligning our distribution model accordingly. Following recent process reviews, they have made the decision to limit access to American Express Travel benéfits: to baskings made directly through Amex Travel only.
