I’ve been in no contact with my ex for almost 3 months. We live in different states, and I’m really trying to maintain no contact and move forward.

The problem is, he still has one of my things: an expensive citrine point with smokey phantoms inside. It’s mine—I never gave it to him. I had left it with him, and now I’m wondering what to do.

Would you break no contact to ask him to mail it back to you, especially since it’s valuable and you never actually gave it to him?

Or would you just consider it a loss and leave the situation completely alone?

I honestly don’t know if getting it back is worth reopening that door.

What would you do?
