JFK Terminal 5 to DoubleTree by Hilton New York JFK Airport (3 miles), arriving around 8pm with 2 pieces of luggage.

There's 3 options and trying to decide what's best.

1. Hotel Shuttle. Have to take Air Train. Unreliable and sometimes a no show.

2. Air Train then Uber. Time consuming up to an hour.

3. Yellow Cab from terminal. Heard they can jack up prices possibly $30-$40 for the trip.

Leaning towards option 3 for time but is it worth the price because I'll have to come back to the airport the next morning.

38M. Currently have 100k in my HYSA, was going to use it for a down payment on a house but looks like that not happening in the near future. Currently residing in California. Should I just take all my funds from my HYSA and transfer to my brokerage account at Schwab and purchase SGOV? Or throw in 6 months of emergency funds into SGOV and the rest on VT/VOO or something similar? It could be 2-3 years or more before if I need to use the funds. My 401K and IRA are maxed out. Thanks.
