Can they stop using this as proof lmao

Can they stop using this as proof lmao

Norah Vincent ended her life way after that experiment and she had been dealing with depression even before doing the experiment it had nothing to do with it yet they love using this as a gotcha moment for some reason, there’s no correlation, she struggled with severe depression her entire life and died 16 years after her research was published.

I don’t understand their thought process

and he doesn’t have the same sentiment for men who commit 90% of all violent crimes…? are they braindead? the cognitive dissonance is crazy seriously what is wrong with them? the whole comment section is just dudes like him lol the woman is clearly psychotic but men commit majority crimes so we should opress them? 😂

we need to talk about jennie and her mom (mama kim is lowkey the ultimate momager)

okay so I’ve been thinking about jennie and her mom lately because the lore here is actually wild. everyone knows jennie as the ultimate "it girl," but if you look at her backstory, mama kim has literally been running the blueprint behind the scenes from day one. back when jennie was literally TEN years old, her mom sent her off to study in new zealand all by herself. the original plan was allegedly to ship her off to florida at fourteen so she could become a lawyer or something. then jennie put her foot down and said she wanted to do music, went back to korea, and auditioned for YG. people always frame it as this massive act of teenage rebellion,(I find this hard to believe that her mom let her drop everything and gamble everything for a debut, she and her mom must have known they have connections and she would get in, Jennie claims in the documentary the thought came to her randomly that she wanted to be a singer..?)

and don't even get me started on the fashion aspect because it’s so calculated. jennie didn't just accidentally become "human chanel." she’s literally talked about raiding her mom’s vintage chanel closet as a kid, meaning her mother was curating that ultra-wealthy luxury image for her WAY before she ever became a YG trainee.

fast forward to now with ODD ATELIER and the "stage mom" theories are running rampant. the second jennie went independent, everyone started side-eying how much control mama kim actually has behind the scenes at OA. they travel everywhere together, go to fashion week together, and are basically glued at the hip. fans call them besties, but honestly... the line between supportive mom and full-on momager is so blurry here. mama kim keeps a super low profile: no fan cafes, no public socials, yet her hand is in literally every single career move jennie makes. i remember watching an interview from Jennie some years back of her at a Chanel fashion show and you could see her mom was in the background lol

idk what do you guys think? is mama kim just a rich supportive mom living her best life, or is she secretly the mastermind pulling all the strings for the OA era??

some men and casual cheating “jokes”

i’ve been spiraling down reels, tiktok comments, and reddit lately and i seriously need to rant because the double standard is actually wild. why are some men on the internet so incredibly bold about treating cheating, sneaking around, and disrespecting their partners like a hilarious joke, but the second a woman does anything, it’s suddenly a moral apocalypse?

the math is not mathing, and the mental gymnastics are out of control.

first of all, inventing imaginary women to get mad at

we’ve all seen those viral, random candid videos where a guy is doing something weird, and the comment section instantly manufactures a woman to blame for it.

like, i remember seeing this video of a guy at the beach telling some girl to “cover up more.” mind you… there was no wife in the video. it was literally just him and his sons. but the comments were fully packed with men saying stuff like:

  • "his wife definitely saw him looking and told him to say that"
  • "blink twice if your wife is standing behind the camera"

the way they fully made up a whole imaginary woman to get mad at and blame, while casually implying that he’s staring at other women, is what gets me. they will literally invent a fictional wife to protect a man from being held accountable for his own weird actions. as if even if there was a wife there they have no sense of loyalty And it’s ok for him to ogle a random woman.

even when a man is literally being perfect, they STILL do it

this is what really weirds me out . i saw a video of an athlete being super respectful to an attractive female fan. he took a photo with her, kept his boundaries, and then immediately went back over to his wife, smiled, and hugged her. it was literally the most wholesome, normal thing ever.

in the comments, all the women were rightfully hyping him up like:

  • "he’s so respectful"
  • "the way he immediately looks for his wife 🥺"

but then the men in the comments had to completely ruin the vibe. a bunch of them were literally saying:

  • "if his wife wasn't there then it'd be a different story"

like... wth are you even saying??? this man did absolutely nothing wrong. he was loyal, respectful, and clearly loves his wife, but these guys are still projecting their own shady urges onto him. they literally cannot comprehend a man just being a decent, loyal partner without having some secret urge to cheat. it's so exhausting.

keep in mind if women even remotely act like this then suddenly it’s “society is cooked” “women ruined dating (which is extremely laughable“ or “she’s for the streets.” Why are they such hypocrites?

the absolute delusion of the yoruichi anime incident

if you want to see the peak of this weird behavior, look at that viral Reddit post of the guy getting divorced over the new bleachmovie. now, the post i feel is mostly fake as most Reddit stories are but it’s the way men reacted and commented on the situation is very telling.

this grown man took his wife and young daughter to the theaters, and when a highly sexualized scene of yoruichi’s backside came on and his daughter asked why they were showing her butt, he literally told his kid that yoruichi has "very powerful glutes and hammies due to her shunko and training."

obviously his wife called bullshit on his weird explanation, stormed out, and now they’re actually getting divorced. but the comments under the reposts are flooded with guys saying:

  • "bro's wife left him because she's jealous and insecure"
  • "she's overreacting, he dodged a bullet"

like are we serious right now??? "jealous and insecure" of a 2D drawing? no, she is literally disgusted because her husband is trying to explain away anime fanservice to their young daughter in a public theater. this man is weird af, but to internet men, the wife is still the villain. i watch anime too but it’s weird as hell to bring your young daughter there and the way they’re causally joking about him hurting her even if she was potentially not ok with the oversexualised content is very telling.
