Finishing up my first year of a 4-year AME course (2 years theory + 2 years practical) in Dubai for both B1.1 and B2.

Found out I was red-green colorblind a year ago. Got rejected by one college because of it but passed another one, but the school I'm at now (also another one) accepted me and the manager told me not to worry. I also asked some classmates to check with their dads who work as AMEs here, and they confirmed there are definitely colorblind engineers working in the hangars right now.

But I still get hit with anxiety because I know places like the Philippines will instantly kill your career over a color test.

Are there any active B1 or B2 AMEs in Dubai/UAE who are colorblind? How did your GCAA medical or practical trade tests go? Did you get slapped with any limitations, and has it actually affected your hiring or daily work with airlines here?

Just a thought…at the very end of the movie we see bear overdosing, and after a while the real nikki snaps back to life or whatever. She obviously looks scared and freaked out, but what’s bothering me is that she screams “No!”

At first i thought it was because she was in a fucked up situation, but wouldn’t be the natural thing to say is “oh shit” or “what the fuck” or anything like that?

We know that the real nikki is somewhat aware that she’s being possessed by an entity or at least that she’s not doing this by herself and that her autonomy is gone, and after seeing what situation she’s in, she says “No!” As in “no why did this have to happen to me and my friends” or like “no my friends are dead and i’ll have to convince everyone that it wasn’t my fault” (cause she was aware of what was happening)

I think there could be a possibility that nikki screaming “No!” at the end is still the freaky nikki/entity? Or that after everything the real nikki has been through (assumming she’s aware) that she fell for bear as well?

Idk lowkey it’s just a small what if, its probably the “no why did this have to happen to me and my friends”. What do you think?
