I always have the urge to paint the background black to make the colors pop, but it takes too much time. Do you have any tips on how to fill the background with little effort?

I'm not a photographer at all, but my friend had a beautiful dress, and I had a camera. So we decided to turn a simple walk in the woods into a little photoshoot :)
