Frustrating repeats

I work for charter, one of the things I struggle with is getting repeats for when I go to a home, verify the drop/outlet is good, signal quality coming from the tap is good. Modem shows 98-100% uptime in scope, and the router is being wonky and intermittent. I swap the router because the modem is showing good signal and uptime. I either don’t have enough modems until warehouse and take a chance not replacing both, or I believe it’s a router issue. Repeat comes back in, next tech goes out and swaps the modem. Okay, I come across the situation again, I decide I remember what happened last time, I’ll swap the modem. Repeat comes back in tech swaps the router. How am I supposed to know which one is exactly the issue if levels/lines are clean, uptime shows good. We don’t have enough equipment to swap both out each time. Is there something I’m missing? I feel this exact situation is likely 20% of my repeats.

Dc midpipes stock- Dc midpipes and 12” bottle res in place of stock res, stock muffler

Okay so as many of you have seen, the first clip is dc midpipes with stock everything else, second clip is swapped stock resonators for 12” vibrant bottles. Stock res are 16” long with 12” straight through perf body. Vibrants are 12” long with 9.5” straight through perf body. Smaller/higher quality resonator cleans up sound but is smaller so allows a bit more through without being absorbed, not a huge change, especially in video, but in person it is heavier/and exhaust tone is cleaned up and less chaotic/murky. More of a higher quality sound. Upshift cracks are SOO pronounced/sharp/crisp compared to stock res which are still pronounced but rounder. For 160 for resonators and 100 installation/welding. Wether it’s worth it is up to you, again video doesn’t do it justice, but upshift sound 10/10. Crisp/clean tone 9/10. Again these were put on today so in the following month, once the packing settles in, and carbon buildup occurs it should get a a little louder. I’m in love with this set up for anyone that wants to keep stock muffler/valve system. Total cost was 300-DC midpipes. 160-vibrants and 100 installation. 560 total for a clean, oem++ sound that is not raspy at all. No drone in comfort, and a good deep purr in sport+ when cruising (100% tolerable, doesn’t interrupt music or convos) crisp upshifts. Not obnoxious neighbor, or DB heard 3 blocks away (except for upshifts ;). Again swapping stock res for these smaller 12” allows less filtering capacity, sharper upshifts, higher quality tone/cleans up upper rpm. Sounds more calculated tuned exhaust rather than just cutting something off. **im sorry, video does not do it justice or allow you to hear how full and the resonance of in person hearing, but trust me in person is much better, on video they sound very similar, but in person in more pronounced**

DC sports midpipe only, stock everything else. It sounds nice inside but had no idea that it sounded this good/loud from the outside, I could hear thumps when upshifting from cabin but didn’t realize it was cracking like that. Slightly deeper irl and richer in quality than video. 10/10 purchase for anyone on the fence. This is how it should’ve been from the factory, next week im swapping my stock resonators for the 12” vibrant bottles to get a bit more sound, deeper/sharper tone. And release more burbles/cracks than stock res. Keeping mufflers.

Installed dc midpipes, but sounds really airy/whispy and not like turbo whistle. Is this normal sounding? Hearing others with same modifications it doesn’t sound whispy/hissy. Maybe it’s because I’m too close or it’s too new, or I’m not revving it high enough, which I was being gentle with it, maybe 2-2.5k rpm’s while sport + and in neutral to rev. Thoughts? Again I don’t really hear an airy sound in other clips. Cruising or wot I don’t hear anything wrong from inside, it sounds nice! Good little bump in volume. Possible small exhaust leak?

I’ve spoke to a few on here about running midpipes and replacing stock res for 12”bottles to limit the rasp of midpipe/res delete, while also keeping more flow and volume than Midpipes and stock resonators. Keeping stock mufflers for valves. Will keep yall posted in the next week or so. Probably going to go Tuesday and see about getting resonators put on, and the I’m going to do the midpipes myself for the fun of it this on Sunday if my ramps get here on time. If I can’t get it done then, no worries there will be sound clips. Before and after.
