Last shred of confidence

I feel as though my last shred of confidence was torn down today at work - I’m dealing with sleep deprivation, daycare illnesses and child tantrums and still front up and put 100 per cent care and effort into my work. Today my manager aggressively cut me down in front of my colleagues during a meeting, simply for asking for a routine update on a piece of work. Something in me just broke. I could really use some words of encouragement 🙏🏻

Reducing refined starches has helped resolve constipation

I recently started reducing refined starches in my diet like white bread, crackers and potato chips etc, and my bloating has reduced a lot. I also then started adding brown basmati rice to my white rice and I am now moving my bowels regularly and more comfortably. Interestingly, I have tried eating more wholegrains in the past, but always felt more constipated and horrid by doing this. But, after reducing refined starches I am now tolerating more insoluble fibre and getting the digestive benefits from it. Thought this may help others who are struggling. Refined starches are seemingly incredibly binding for me and cause havoc with my gut bacteria!
