Hi, when returning from abroad if i carry an item(furniture) purchased abroad, do I need to declare it at Trivandrum customs or liable to pay any duty irrespective of purchase cost of item?

Hi, me and my plan to visit Sandwich near Cape Cod in the coming week. We need to travel by public transport from Boston. I know Peter Pan and P&B ply buses from Logan to Hyannis. So plan to take P&B by booking in advance. But from Hyannis hub to Sandwich what are the options? Any suggestions? Thanks.
