Replacing this 50 year old 20 space panel with a new 32 space panel to make room for a few new circuits including a tankless 240v water heater. It's a sub panel in our home we've had for 55 years. I'll de energize from the main, so not concerned about the work. The only thing giving me pause is the one circuit with the cloth covered wire; hoping it's in good enough shape to continue being used. Any advice on that guy?
New SG4000 set up last night to make sure I'm ready for hurricane season here in Houston. Connected to my DP3s with DP extra batteries. EF is sold out of 1m and 5m XT150s with no plans to restock, according to their website. So I can't reach the outside with the generator. Oh well, fan will blow out the CO. Also, battery in the SG4000 was connected when it arrived so it was dead and after a day of connection to the DP3, it is still showing dead.
