Resume / Co op advice
Im an incoming comp eng student whos in stream 4 and im very worried about the first co op term.
I had a few questions as to what people actually put on their resumes when they have no relevant work experience? Is some major experience in Vex robotics/coding okay to put on? How related do personal projects have to be?
Should i include entrance scholarships under my education? Relevant coursework?
Whats a good order for sections on a resume?
I have also attached a resume (not mine) and feel as if mine would end up looking similar. What tips would you give to improve that resume?
And in general, any advice you wish you heard.

The uoft waitlist offers yesterday were most likely an accidental glitch.
First of all, UofT this year has never released any decisions at 8-9 am for art sci.
Secondly, Only deferral offers were made which dosent make sense this late in the game. The pat rounds, deferrals and acceptances have come at the same time.
Thirdly, The “Admitted” was not highlighted nor an offer letter was given. In past rounds you would be able to see a letter.
Fourth, The alternate program didnt show up in our portals which is unlike past defferals.
Fifth, Mostly for life sci, but many applicants about the cut off were deferred. Which dosent make sense for a program without a supp app.
(I know someone with a 95 with deffered from utsg life sci)
Lastly, Everyones offer switched back to under review today.
Any thoughts guys?

Just wondering if anyone had any second thoughts on their program choice.
Is uoft really that much better when it comes to research?
Why and what factors made you choose waterloo over uoft? If it was the co op, has waterloo works really been that more beneficial?

I recently got offers to both universities for computer engineering. And im really torn between the decision.
My goal is to work at tech in the states, but im open to doing grad school too.

What type of co ops are common for ECE students?
Would i be able to specialize in something more software related in the future with this degree? (3rd or 4th year electives?)
How is the co op situation, Is it hard for ece studens
to get co ops when competing against cs and swe?
Also, Stream 4 or Stream 8? Or does it not matter for co op selection?
