Shadow 2 Carry failure to feed

I picked up a shadow 2 carry earlier this year and had very high expectations. This is my first CZ and I have to say I have not been very impressed so far. I love the ergonomics and everything with the looks and way it shoots. However, I have right around 1k rounds through this gun and have had 20+ failure to feeds. It is the same malfunction every time it occurs. It appears that the edge of the casing gets stuck on the chamber opening and will only cycle if the slide is pulled back some and then released. I’ll attach a picture of the failure below. I’ve had this malfunction with 115, 124, and 147 grain across multiple brands. I thought it might get better over time or with more cleaning/lubrication but nothing helped. I finally gave in and had it sent off to CZ today. My question is if anyone has experienced something similar, and if you sent it to CZ what was their fix if any.
Side note, this isn’t related to the malfunctions but I did notice today before I sent it off that a small piece of the very end of the recoil spring had actually snapped off and was just hanging on in the retainer of the guide rod. Wasn’t causing any issues that I noticed, but again very surprised to see this on a gun with this price point and no more than 1k rounds through it.
