We all know it. The boomers had the best period economically. You could support a family and buy a house an a car on one wage. It's all over now unless you scammed in crypto or had insane luck.

The price of EVERYTHING is going up, the quality of EVERYTHING is going down and our wages have never been this worthless. Every year people take longer to move out, marry, have kids.

Billionaires like Kevin O'Leary can just come to a rural state, build an AI farm, pass the energy cost to the residents and pay any politician to shut up. That's just one instance of millionaires fucking everyone over just for more money.

So is this it? Is life just living the remainder years of freedom before millionaires fucks everyone up, legalize slavery and just take our rights? Is there really nothing we can do to stop that?

I genuinely don't know what I did to deserve these "friends" man. Like we argued ONCE three years ago about me not wanting to go partying and they never spoke to me again.

I went to Taiwan with them and had some of my greatest memories with them but it's all over because of this? I even hurt my own ego and tried to apologize for whatever but it doesn't matter because I really liked them and valued them but they never bothered.

Now one of them got married and didn't invite me and at first I thought well maybe it was a small party or something but no, they invited EVERYONE from college, people I know for a fact have never messaged them back.

They even invited my best friend. My best friend was weird with me all week and I didn't understand why because he wouldn't tell me. All I wanted was to eat a burger and play some danganronpa.

Wanna know more about the fight that started all of this? One of our friends was going to Taiwan to study so I wanted to organize a goodbye party at someone's house but one of my friends wanted to go party at some club that I don't like. I tried to reason with him but he lashed out at me. It came out of nowhere and my best friend told me that the guy just wasn't in the right place mentally.

After that? Crickets. So I asked my best friend if they really did hate me or if there was any way to reconcile. He asked and all he got back was "it would be uncomfortable now, so we can't invite him back"

Now our friend came back from Taiwan and they're already planning meetings without me and like telling him I chose not to talk to them.

The worst thing is that the first thing he did when he came back from Taiwan was message me. He wanted to see me and the guys and was organizing a party.

I'm genuinely trying not to think too much about it but it does affect me. I think I'm an emotional guy, so it really hurts. I don't know what I should do. I just want my old friends back to how it was
