Date pressured physical contact, insulted my autism-related behavior, then told me to get out of the car

I had the worst date I’ve ever been on and I’m trying to process whether I handled it correctly.

A guy I met on a dating app knew I’m autistic. Within the first couple minutes, he was rude, asked if I had “mental issues,” pressured me to hold hands, asked for a hug, and called me weird when I didn’t want to hug him.

I got overwhelmed and started crying/rubbing my hands. He said my hand rubbing was weirding him out, told me to stop crying, said I creeped him out, and told me to get out of the car.

I blocked him afterward. I felt humiliated and unsafe. Has anyone dealt with something like this, and what would you do after a date like that?

transfer to Chapman or stay at MSMU?

hi! i recently got accepted to Chapman as a transfer and i’m trying to decide if i should go or stay at Mount Saint Mary’s LA.

i’m studying political science and i’m interested in pre-law, legal studies, public policy, disability rights/advocacy, etc. i’m mostly trying to figure out if Chapman would be a better fit academically and socially, especially for transfers.

for anyone who goes there or transferred in:

  • do you like Chapman?
  • how is the poli sci/pre-law stuff?
  • is it easy to make friends as a transfer?
  • are there good internship/leadership opportunities?
  • is the school supportive, especially for disabled/neurodivergent students?
  • do you think Chapman is worth it?

i’d really appreciate honest opinions, good or bad. i’m trying to make a real decision and don’t want to just go off the campus tour/website lol.
