Inconsiderate and noisy neighbours

About 5+ years ago, my neighbours moved into the house next to me (unfortunately sharing a wall). They are really inconsiderate and noisy to name some things; constant banging and shouting, the dog barking at all hours, parties during the week and the one that’ll put me in a padded room, guitar playing.

It’s now just a mum and 4 boys and they have all switched rooms. The eldest is now in the room beside me and for months all I’ve heard is that stupid guitar, it was an acoustic but when I was outside I saw an electric guitar box and I knew it was his. The thing is, he plays this at all hours and it’s the same exact riff or whatever you call it and he plays it over and over again. I genuinely hate being in my room now since I can’t seem to relax without pausing whatever I’m doing cause I heard a noise that sounds like a guitar, I’ve got autism and my room was my safe space since it used to be the quietest and I could go in there for peace and quiet. I’ve tried putting in those loop earplugs or turning my headphones up louder and I can still hear it. And just as I’m writing this, he’s just started playing yet again… anyways, it’s so loud doesn’t matter if it’s electric or acoustic. It’s like he knows I’m in my room cause he never plays it when I’m out but when I get into my room and sit down, he starts playing. He knows I hate it since I’ve banged on the wall, shouted through the wall (at night mostly) and my mum has texted his mum.

The whole family is inconsiderate, they have parties during the week when everyone has work, they let their dog out like a cat and it shits in everyone’s garden. Even people in the neighbourhood are annoyed with them with the noise and having to pick up after a dog that isn’t theirs. They shout and be loud after midnight without having consideration that the neighbours next door are trying to sleep.

There’s nothing I can do about it. My gran will be getting a new house soon so I could move in with her but I don’t think that’ll happen. I can’t move rooms and I don’t think anyone would want to be in the nosiest room anyway. I genuinely don’t know what I can do to make it quiet again.

Advice on giving gecko away

Recently I have been thinking of rehoming my crestie. I feel so guilty feeling this way, she was my dream pet. I got her a little over a year ago and way before that I made sure to have a good think about what I was doing since they live up to 15-20yrs and I will be fully responsible for her. For a little bit now I just haven’t been enjoying caring for her (I do still care for her, just in case people take it the wrong way) and financially she does cost a bit especially her food. I do really love her and the thought about someone coming to pick her up is quite upsetting. None of my family are reptile people so holidays or anything like that would be a struggle (costly if I need to get boarding). I done years of research before I got her (since I couldn’t get one until just last year) so I knew what cresties would be like in regards to handling and what they are like, I have been trying since getting her but she’s just scared of me, recently I had one time where she allowed me to handle her and she was really calm but even when she’s in the cage, if I move a certain way or I walk too fast, she freaks out. She is basically the decorative type pet since she doesn’t like handling or anything and I keep spending too much money on stuff for the cage. I really want to try enjoy caring for her again before I actually resort to rehoming her. Any advice would be really appreciated TIA

Looking for any advice and tips for my geckos enclosure!

I have just done a little upgrade to Salems enclosure but I feel like it should be better so any advice on what I should add or if I should remove/move anything that would be really appreciated!

I know the heat mat is terrible so if anyone can tell me the best heatbulb and thermostat (that’s available in the uk) so I can get it asap!

My crested gecko ate substrate, what should I do?

I found my gecko on the ground and I picked her up and found her with substrate in her mouth. She never has ate substrate and it’s really unusual to be on the ground specifically in that spot since she lays eggs at a different bit so I don’t think she’s laying eggs. Idk if it’s because of the heatwave in the uk at the moment. I woke up this morning to humidity being 80-90% and temp being around 26 (with barely a gradient from high to low). I opened one of the doors and had a fan blowing air in which fixed the humidity, not much the temp tho. I haven’t been misting since the humidity isn’t dropping like It did before the heatwave and don’t want to risk a respiratory issue. Idk if I should get a vet appointment or if I just monitor her and go from there. Pic from when I picked her up

Spells to shut up neighbours

my neighbours moved in around 8 yrs ago and ever since then it’s been very loud. Either they have people over, they’re annoying dog (it’s gotten that bad that I even hate the dog as someone who is an animal lover and don’t hate animals) barks constantly, especially at all hours of the night when they are out and she also lets the dog out like a cat and it does the toilet in everyone’s garden which they are all getting sick of it. One of the oldest children recently moved into the room next to mine and he’s now gotten an electric guitar. He puts it on full blast late at night and I’m getting sick of it. Last night was so bad that I’m now considering taking up my grandmothers offer of moving in with her which I first refused due to reasons which I will not put on here. They are the most inconsiderate people I’ve ever known and we’ve even told them etc but they won’t don’t anything. Now I’m deciding to do a spell as my last resort. I just want my peace and quiet back.

I was thinking maybe a freezer spell but is there any spells which are even better than that?

Upgrading RAM

I currently have 16 RAM (2x 8gb) but since I’ve now started playing with mods, I’m below the recommended for a lot of them. Currently the RAM I have in is the Kingston fury beast DDR5 - 5200 and I want to upgrade it to 32GB.

I can comment the specs if it’s needed
