Testing the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C and might've found something...
Just got an 8BitDo Ultimate 2C and I’ve been testing the sticks.
Using it on Windows 11
Out of the box:
- Left stick: ~14.1%
- Right stick: ~9.3%
After updating:
- Controller firmware: v1.06 → v1.09
- Dongle firmware: v1.00 → v1.03
The values changed to:
- Left stick: ~12.5%
- Right stick: ~8%
Then I tried the manual calibration method:
LB + RB + Minus + Plus for 8 seconds, rotate sticks, press triggers, then press the combo again to save.
After that, the circularity values became inconsistent:
- sometimes around 19%
- Then around 13%
- currently around 13.7% / 13.9%
Center values currently look like:
- Left: X 0.029 / Y -0.016
- Right: X 0.010 / Y 0.005
Does it revert to the factory setting again, and is the current percentage acceptable?
Like tbh this is my first "good" controller, the one I had before was let's say shitty.
It's still in the replacement window, so should I go ahead and do that, or is this okay, really confused.
