Anchor Falls Asleep On Air

I happened to see this snippet on tv earlier today, just curious everyone's thoughts on it. What's irritating to me is that people act like just because they procreate they deserve special treatment. This was never a thing many years ago.

Just like I will never understand people forgetting their children in cars. I babysat my cousins - an infant and a toddler when I was 18 and never forgot that they were in the car if we went somewhere. Maybe I am being too harsh, idk. Just curious everyone's thoughts on this.

Lost in Transit

Has anyone else experienced a lost in transit passport?

I renewed online, the process was very simple and easy. My passport was shipped 5/8. I should have known there would be trouble. It took a couple of days before the tracking number was even active I kept getting a invalid tracking message.

When I finally got an update it was supposed to be delivered by 5/16. The following week is when I started calling. I definitely don't want my passport floating around who knows where. When I called the passport agency I was told if I didn't receive it by 5/25 to call them back. I knew that I would have to because there has been no movement it's been at the Little Rock AR distribution center since 5/11. I've done a service request, search request and claim. I called USPS again this morning they are saying it left AR on the 12th and they don't know where it is. Meanwhile my end still says it's in AR since 5/11.

There is no simple way to get a replacement. No surprise. You have to fill out a form with more of your PII and send a copy of your ID. I'm thinking to send that via priority mail with tracking because this is going badly. It can only be mailed in. No electronic request.

Has anyone had their passport show up after an extended period of time?

I was told if I end up with 2 they would tell me which one to keep. What an absolute pain.
