My friend doesn't want to see a movie with me anymore and I'm confused
(F) Yesterday was my birthday, and my best friend invited me to see a movie and we planned for Thursday. But today she just texted me couldn't go anymore, so I asked if Saturday is okay and she said again she couldn't but didn't try to say another day. So I asked which day and she just said she wasn't going to watch it.
I thought that maybe there was a misunderstanding cause I mentioned that my girlfriend and I were also going to watch it, and I thought she thought that my gf was going to come with us (she wasn't) so I asked that.
But my friend just said that she didn't want to watch it. That got me sad and confused because she was the one that asked me and it was on my birthday, and she was also excited to see the movie.
I asked if she wanted to watch another one and she said she'll see.
Should I ask her why she doesn't want to anymore? Or if I did something wrong? I still want to hang out with her
