I know I'm late to the Candy pink party, but I wanted to make sure when I did decide to order that the factories had gotten the color right. And after seeing some gorgeous bags posted here, I decided to do a last minute addition to my order with Betty during her HuaHui sale. It just arrived yesterday and I'm THRILLED y'all. This is probably the softest, smushiest P9 I've received yet. It's just as good as my ones from Royal, and those babies are super soft and puddly. And this color, wow!!! It's absolutely gorgeous 😍🩷🩷 I'm obsessed with how it changes depending on the lighting. You're probably going to see me keep wearing it through the fall and winter because I love it so much!

I just saw Betty's HH sale has been extended for a short time, so if you've been wanting this one I'd get it now while the batch is still good. I can't get over how amazing this quality is for the price. Don't sleep on HH!!

My P9 obsession continues with this brown monogram in the size 30 I recently got through Sixteen (Mina)/Royal factory. I love how the neutral color goes with everything. And the leather on this batch is insaneee, it's probably my softest slouchiest one I've gotten so far. 🤎

Thoughts on bag: Wow! This is my first P9 from HuaHui and I'm legit impressed. I've read many reviews on here saying HH's quality is comparable to Royal at a significantly lower price, and I have to say I agree!

First off, the overall look and feel is almost identical to my Royal bags. Same weight, hardware, finishing etc all looks the same to my eye. Handles and strap feel solid and well made, not plastic or cheap at all. I don't really examine the glazing too closely on any of my bags, but it all appears clean and fine to me.

And of course the question we all want answered in these reviews: But how's the slouch?

Answer: Amazing! 🙌

Seriously though, my guess is that both Royal and HH are listening to their sellers/customers and are trying to produce bags with that buttery softness and slouch we all desire. I've never handled the auth in hand, but my hunch is while maybe these reps aren't EXACTLY as smooth and soft to the touch as the calfskin leather on the OG, whatever leather they are using is certainly high quality enough to give a very similar experience. And at a 98% discounted price from the auth, I'll definitely take it!

This color green is also literally everything btw. I really wanted one of the first release colors, and I'm so glad I got the green. It's rich and bold without being too in your face. I also think it's one of the closest shades to the auth available right now. (And as you can probably guess by how I styled it, it's perfect for the upcoming NFL season! 😁💛💚🏈)

Final thoughts: I'd definitely order a HH bag again, because the savings compared to Royal is pretty significant for not much difference between the two factories. If I were pressed I'd have to say Royal's leather is just a teensy bit smoother and slouchier, at least comparing the batches I own. But if I were ordering a "tried and true" version that's been out for awhile and in a colorway that's been perfected by both factories, I'd probably go with HH. Because at the end of the day I love feeling like I got a bargain 😁🎉🎉 It makes justifying this sometimes expensive little hobby a lot easier lol.

Thoughts on seller: Betty is awesome. Just type her name in the search bar and you'll find tons of positive reviews. Responsive and fast and almost always sends a video of the bag in outdoor lighting in addition to PSPs which is very much appreciated.

✅ Thoughts on bag: This is my third P9 to arrive, and it's definitely my favorite so far! The 30 is the sweet spot for me size wise: not too big, not too small. As much as I adore my 40, sometimes it feels a little big for everyday. The 30 fits everything I need but isn't heavy at all. And I loveeeee the Speedy shoulder straps on these! I'll use the crossbody probably more in fall/winter, but for now I am really loving it with the short strap.

And as you've probably already read or experienced, Royal's leather is fantastic. Super soft and slouchy right out of the box. And this color! I'm not really a purple girlie, but I wanted something bold and also something that could easily transition from summer to fall. I really think this color fits the bill. It's actually more of a deep wine sangria in person. Literally gorgeous 🍷🍇 And with the tone on tone monogram, it's a little quieter than the traditional white, giving it an overall more sophisticated and less sporty vibe. Idk, I'm just ecstatic I took a chance on this one in a color I wouldn't normally gravitate toward. I think she's going to get a lot of use!

I know the actual color name is Frozen Lime, but today I decided to go for a Wasabi vibe with the sushi charm. 🍣 I think it turned out pretty cute!

(Side note: I've had this bag for about a month now and I really like the color for summer, but I'm struggling to love it. The leather is sooo dry. I've conditioned with Cadillac leather lotion twice and beat it with the theragun within an inch of its life, and it remains very matte and structured. My p9 from Royal arrived out of the box with a very soft sheen and puddles like melted butter. So idk guys, I'm open to any suggestions you might have! Maybe a different leather conditioner? But otherwise she's a cute looking bag... the handles and hardware are nice and solid and the glazing is beautiful. I just wish the leather was better tbh. 🫤)

✅Thoughts on bag: this is my first bag from Royal and I'm absolutely thrilled with the quality!! 😍 I understand the hype now. The leather is thick, supple, heavy, and she puddles like melted butter. Seriously. I can't stop touching it. And the way she molds and contours to your body while wearing it is the very definition of luxurious. Now being the 40 she is very large and in charge; I already own a Speedy 35 in classic monogram so I'm accustomed to a big slouchy bag, but I wasn't quite prepared for the size difference if I'm being honest. What's another 5cm, amirite? 🤣 Turns out when it comes to comparing a regular Speedy to a P9, the answer is A LOT. But it's ok, I'm a tall girlie (5'10", US size 12), so I don't feel overwhelmed by it. Especially with the way she flattens against the body, it doesn't look at all like luggage. She just makes a big statement and I love that.

Now, when it comes to the color... That bit is a little confusing. I sent Mina a screenshot of the factory photo from her own album when I ordered. The factory photo is a darker, dusty pink more similar to the auth pics I've seen. This as you can see is much lighter; I'd dare say someone at the factory goofed up and made a batch with the Candy pink leather instead of the Sakura. But even though I know this puts it firmly in the "fantasy " category, I'm not mad about it. I actually prefer the dark vachetta with this pink color. (And in person it truly is the softest, prettiest, most delicately sophisticated shade of pink. 🩷🩷🩷 Love love love.)

And besides, as far as anyone on the street knows, maybe I'm rich enough that I had it custom made for me that way? 🤣 Ok probably not but whatever, at the end of the day all reps imo are a little bit fantasy. We all have our reasons for buying reps vs the auth, and I think we all have to suspend disbelief to wear them confidently, which is nothing if not playing into the fantasy itself. But anyway, I digress.

I already have the 30 P9 in Frozen Lime from MOQC, and while I still love it, it cannot compare as far as luxury feel to this one from Royal. The MOQC leather is much more stiff and dry and dare I say even unpleasant feeling in comparison? I even conditioned the strap and handles on my MOQC and while that did give it a little more flexibility and softness, it's still on the dry side. And she keeps her shape, no puddling whatsoever. I don't really mind this, but now that I've experienced the Royal I can't see myself ever going back. She's just too divine!! 🤩🤩

Just got my PSPs for my p9 40 and everything looks great, but I noticed the pink is much lighter than the factory photos. I asked if this is indeed from royal? My TS assured me yes, but they recently changed the leather color to a lighter pink. To me it looks like the Candy pink, but with dark trim which I actually love.

I gave GL because I don't live anywhere near an LV or where you'd probably ever see an auth p9 in the wild so I'm not afraid of a call-out. But just wanted to post as an FYI in case others are thinking about buying the p9 in Sakura from royal, apparently the leather color has changed.
