AC blowing cold for passenger and not driver

Hey y'all, I have a 2012 Mazda 3 Skyactiv, and right now the driver side of my car blows hot air and the passenger side blows cold.

I assumed it was low on refrigerant (leak) but read from multiple people that it could also be the blend door actuator?

I was a bit confused by this because I figured that would only matter for dual climate controls, and I can switch from hot to cold without issue. Also don't hear any clicking that's often associated with it. Still inclined to believe it's an AC issue, but would love a second opinion.

R134a recharge in Canada?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a 2012 Mazda 3 with the Skyactiv engine, and it has issues with its A/C. I'm looking to recharge it with r134a as it needs, but they don't sell it in Ontario for environmental reasons.

To get ahead of a few things: Yes, I know a functioning AC will never need a recharge, you have to understand that this is a 5k CAD car that is 14 years old, and a proper AC fix could run like 2k, hardly worth it if topping up every year gets me through the summer season. Why did I buy a car with an AC that doesn't work? I live in Canada, when I bought it, it was winter so the compressor didn't need to work hard and it was blowing cold. No I will not get refrigerant with "stop leak"

What I have checked: The compressor clicks on, I can see it under the hood. The AC does blow a bit cold just not cold enough. The fans blow hard, and the air filter in the cabin has been changed.

My options seem to be driving to the US to get a recharge kit, or taking my car to the shop nearby and seeing if they can recharge it (although I'm sure it'll cost like 5x more so I'm very hesitant)

What would you guys recommend? Thank you
