MY HUSBAND DOESNT LIKE ME FASTING - even though I make myself available for him.
Need your advice please. I love fasting and praying tahjud, but I've come to realise my husband isn't comfortable with it. He complains and give me attitude each time he realises I'm fasting. I make myself available in the night when he needs me. We're both working full time so daytime we are not even at home/together. He goes to work and I go to work too so I don't understand why he would be uncomfortable with his wife fasting. Each time I fast, I get questions like "Are you fasting again? For what? And so on." This behaviour is consistent that I've to start fasting sneakily for him not to be aware. He is someone that the only fasting he does is Ramadan and sometimes shawal. No other fasting until another ramadan. He knows the Sunnah fasting and I've spoken to him about the importance of fasting, but to no avail. I find it hard to stop fasting as it makes me feel empty, like something in me is missing. I'm sad I ended in a situation like this. Do I need his approval to fast? I need your advice pls.
