Power turned off at 3 pm today just when my family and friends were getting ready for 4th of July celebrations. Turned back on around 9 hours later close to midnight, after everybody had already left when it became obvious we were going without power for a while. Spent hundreds of dollars on food to celebrate the 250th birthday of America with my friends and family and it turned out to be the worst 4th of July I've ever had. Sorta fuming at the moment. Yes, yes, I know, first world problems, etc.
