Fitness classes / clubs for a guy who hates the gym

I live in the city centre and I need to find a way of keeping fit / moving once or twice a week. I'm in my late 20s, but I hate the gym. I try to go, but I find it a bit intimidating and that + the fact I don't enjoy it when I've been makes it a hard sell. Are there any good activity / clubs that meet regularly that aren't "laddy" that anyone can suggest so I can keep in shape?

How do I become dynasty head again?

I'm playing a custom dynasty and I've conquered 80% of the world, have around 3,000,000 gold and 230,000 troops I can call up. I was the head of the dynasty for most of the game, but 40 years ago or so I stopped getting dynastic trait notifications and just noticed I'm not the dynasty head, and some cadet branch I've never heard of are the heads instead. How do I become the head again?

Advice on getting my partner to look for a job before being fired?

Hey, I've been with my partner (dx) for about 4 years. Things are mostly fine, and I handle things she struggles with like planning ahead and money as best as I can (while setting some boundaries) and while it was a bit chaotic things are a lot better day to day now.

The issue is my partner doesn't find the motivation to do things until they're extremely urgent, and this is a big issue when she's unemployed. She's been quite unlucky with jobs she's had, when we got together she was in a company she liked but they were taken over and let her and her team go. She was paid 3 months notice, and she said she would look for work. I assumed she was, but a month before her money ran out she hadn't had any interviews and only started looking when I threatened to leave.

She found a job, but it wasn't a job she liked but had no choice in it since it was last minute and she had no savings. Then a similar thing happened. New management, new team, bad place, bad time. It's quite common in her field, especially because she works in upper management. She spent two months enjoying not working, I threatened to cut her off unless she looked for work and she found a job she didn't want.

Each time this happens I believe she's looking for work even though she isn't getting any interviews, and I spend it stressed out since she has no savings, no assets and I'm her safety net so if she doesn't find work I have to support us both. The first time she ran out of money and I found myself supporting her more than I wanted and it was extremely stressful and not something I want to do again. I gave up my life, my hobbies, my friends to support and got into a lot of debt since she had nowhere else to go.

Recently her company was sold off and the new owners have been extremely critical of her and the rest of upper management. They have all been given multiple written formal warnings over minor things, increased her work load beyond to the point she doesn't have enough time in the day to do her job, and a few have already been let go. She will probably be let go in a few months, something we've known about since April.

I'm getting quite worried she won't take the job hunt seriously again. Her work is stressful and I don't want to make her more stressed, but she's going to lose her job soon and has no savings or safety net of any kind. She's had one interview which is good, but I'd hope she would be actively looking for work and I'm getting really worried she isn't going to take this seriously again and I don't know what to do without stressing her out more and putting extra stress on her.

She has this very relaxed way of looking at it since it always works out for her and she always finds a job, but I'm the one that suffers if it doesn't so all of the stress is put on me and I'm getting worried again. How can I motivate her to look for work without stressing her out?

What's up with the right wing street debaters in market street?

I never really go into market street anymore, but I went down there to do a bit of shopping today and saw these guys inviting people to their heavily guarded gazebo, asking people to talk about some quite concerning things. I've seen this on tiktok but thought they were there for quick publicity. Seeing them there, in the middle of cameras and a full entourage of people was quite uncomfortable as someone with a mixed European family. Polls wise Manchester is consistently anti whatever they're preaching, so I'm a bit taken aback by it and I'm surprised they're allowed to film the public and clip farm while getting people (understandably) angry and then playing the victim and looking like the "sensible" ones.

We're a famously diverse and open city and they feel extremely anti most people in Manchester. Watching them get a pass to promote whatever they're promoting made me feel a bit sick.

Which areas to avoid for tourist traps

Hey! I'm visiting the city for a week with a few friends, and we're on a bit of a budget so want to avoid the tourist traps. Any advice on which areas to visit for a "normal" priced meal and which to avoid?
