Stiq is an open source, white-label, nostr over Tor social media platform for communities. We built it for activists and community organizations that actually care about their members.

People need to organize, but individuals should not give up control.

We’re a small community from Iraq (of all places…) funding and building a non profit app for non-profits.

We need your help publishing Stiq app (for those of you with Apple/Google dev account), and we need you to use it! You can run a community on an old machine, or with a cloud provider for as little as $5 per month.

قبل فترة سألت روحي، اذا اريد أأسس تطبيق مجتمعي بس كل اللي يطب بي يحس بالأمان، نفس الشعور اليجيك من تطب على ريدت، بس بنفس الوقت مغلق لمجتمع واحد، (سب ريدت وحدة) وبي نفس الخاصيات مال التليكرام مال القنوات والكروبات... شلون راح يكون شكل هذا التطبيق؟

هاي سكرينات من التطبيق، وهاي التكتولوجيا المبني عليها:

1. بروتوكول نوستر للتواصل الاجتماعي اللامركزي
2. بروتوكول اونيون تور للامان ولا مركزية المستخدم
3. ريياكت وريياكت نيتف للفرونت اند
4. RFC 9474 حتى التسجيل على التطبيق ميتطلب ايميل ولا رقم تلفون، انما دعوة

اسم التطبيق ستيگ، وهاي معايير نشره:

1. مفتوح المصدر
2. بدون براند (تكدر تاخذه وتنشره وتسمي بالاسم اللي انت يعجبك)
3. تدير مجتمعك على السيرفر مالتك، وراح يكلفك اقل من 15 دولار بالشهر، واذا تسوي اكثر من مجتمع، حيكلفك ممكن دولارين لكل مجتمع

الريبو مال كتهب لحد الان ما ناشريها، ممكن خلال هذا الاسبوع، الكوود يحتاج مراجعه وتدقيق من خبراء بالسايبرسكيوريتي

I learned about CrashCourse when I was 13 at a science fair... And I went on to use it to learn English. If I have had the choice I'd decide that my algorithm show me content like CrashCourse or Sci Show the same way I decided to join that Science fair.

I owe a lot to CrashCourse, and every year I'll do my part in considering to get a CrashCourse coin.

But if we want More content from Complexly and other creators, the systemic solution is to demand Choice Over Algorithm.

Someone could make the business case for it too I guess
