Hi, I was tryna do a clean blend to the player, but right when the blending happens, it starts to lag as you can see in the video. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks!

For me, designing UIs is a pretty tough thing to do. Trying to make sure it doesn't look like a mobile game or boring is hard. How do you guys design any tips?
For example, these are some of my designs for my upcoming game I like them but I am hard stuck at making a UI for level selecting.
