Can anyone identify this Moomin brooch? Attwood & Sawyer A&S UK markings
I found this vintage brooch that looks like Moomintroll/Moomin, not a generic hippo.
The back is marked A&S and separately UK.
I have searched but couldn’t find another one like it anywhere. Does anyone know if Attwood & Sawyer ever made Moomin jewelry, or what this could be?

Details:
- Height: about 20–21 cm
- Weight: 850–920 g each
- Thick, heavy glass rim/opening
- Clear smooth surface, with coloured glass stripes/canes inside the glass (not painted on the surface)
- Small pontil mark on the base, otherwise clear polished bottom
- No signature, label or sticker
They look hand-blown to me. The internal coloured canes and the heavy clear glass made me wonder if they could be Murano or another Italian studio glass, but I haven’t found an exact match.
The thick rim seems unusual compared to many similar vases I’ve found online. Any help identifying the maker, technique or origin would be appreciated.
