My phone will not stop replacing the character “a” with “á”, I’ve reset the keyboard dictionary, disabled all languages save for English (US), tried replacing “á” with “a” in keyboard shortcuts, turning off auto-correct and text prediction, nothing will work. I cannot find a solution to this nor anyone else experiencing this glitch online. It’s driving me bonkers. My phone doesn’t have any updates to install. What should I do?

I should note that it doesn’t happen when the character “a” is used in a word, only when I try to use it by itself. Á very frustrating issue.
