so uhh...my startup disk is an external drive, does anyone know how to bypass this? (my internal drive failed so i have to use the external one) (iMac17,1)

Needing confirmation whether I can dual boot Windows 10 & MacOS Sonoma installed with OCLP on a Late 2015 iMac 5K, except its Startup Disk is an external SSD plugged in through a USB port.

Follow-up on my previous post, I believe my title was too vague and inconcise, my bad, I found this video by Mr. Macintosh and was wondering whether I could follow the same instructions and not run into anything that would prevent me from doing so?

Hello, I'm planning on installing Windows 10 using Bootcamp to an external drive that my Late 2015 iMac patched with OCLP to MacOS Sequoia is currently booting on. Not sure how to, though.

I have a Late 2015 5K Display iMac (info that had a failed SSD, so I boot it on an external SSD (a 500 gigabyte Samsung 870 EVO in an enclosure) plugged in through one of the USB ports, and a few months ago I patched it with OCLP to run Sequoia, and it has appeared to run fine.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to use Bootcamp to partition the drive, install Bootcamp, and when all is done I can boot up onto the drive and switch between Windows or MacOS. This is the only computer I have available, and I do not plan on replacing the internal drive before looking at what other options I have before buying a new drive. Thank you for reading, I hope someone can help me here.

I'd like to install Windows 10 on an external SSD that is also the only boot/startup disk for my late 2015 iMac, as the original internal HDD stopped working.

When I opened Bootcamp Assistant it just told me to disconnect all external drives...can't exactly do that if the computers running on it...I've seen some ways to go through Bootcamp on an extrernal drive but my concern is partitioning it while I'm running the drive...

Does reproduction mean it's a working gas mask, or is it just a case-by-case sort of thing?

Right, I know this probably isn't the right place, but I couldn't find somewhere else, and if this isn't, then could someone at least point me in the right direction? Anyways, the above screenshot is from Epic Militaria, and I'd like to get a gasmask for what could be called cosplay and was wondering if in this case they reproduced a working filter as well?
