this pc is a custom build that i was gifted, I've had it for years and recently the dram light has gone red and it dosent show anything on the monitor. I have two sets of duel channeling ram so to troubleshoot i plugged both sets in separably and both sets in together. I'm guessing somethings broken but could it be anything except for the ram or the ram slots?

my pc has had a problem with connecting to monitors for since i got it (its a custom build but i was gifted it), but it has completely stopped working. i was told updating the drivers might help and I've tried pretty much everything else, but do i update the drivers when i cant see my screen?
