So today the woman I usually work with (in my job we work in teams that aren’t chosen by us) commented on my eyebrows. She randomly brought up the topic saying:

CW: Don’t you trim your eyebrows?
M: Yes I do.
CW: Haven’t you thought of trimming it in a different style?
M: No.
CW: Who do you trim them with?
M: I do it myself.
CW: You can see someone who does it better. Don’t you like it if you put some color in them? Give them another shape? (she has hers tattooed)
M: I like my natural ones.

At that she gave me that look, like you know, the “Are you for real look?”

After that I kind of give her the cold shoulder. Not all day though. But!!!!!! Girl I don’t like your tattooed eyebrows but I don’t comment on them!! That’s your taste not mine!

And this is not the first not the second time something like this has happened. Like her first ever question to me was:

CW: Do you have children?
M: No, I don’t.
CW: Well then you better have them soon.
M: I don’t want to have children.

Again the judging look as answer.

I’m really trying to keep peace at work but somedays, she just keeps pushing!
