Always wanted a mustang, new to new edge

Picked this up from an older gentleman who owned it since 2004. 2000 gt 5spd never winter driven, has some lot rot but for a 26yr old rust belt car im jizzing how clean it is!! Its a US car with 57k miles (so about 92k km). Was written off at some point, likely front right judging by shitty fender paint, drove straight, was dirty inside but was good deal paid $7k

Have oem headlights to install, wife n i spend a day detailing the interior, took the seats out its basically new now, found like 20 golf balls and 5000 golf tees in places that dont make sence along with a mouse house and his shit in the spare tire well. cant wait to get it on the road!!

Did ziptie fuel pedal mod and bent the shifter back with a map torch so i can actually reach it! Going to keep it mostly stock, spacers for rear wheels, short shifter, make a custom glasspack catback, and found out the engine can take 6-10psi stock with a 76mm turbo, which i have conveniently sitting in my garage.

Coming from bmw projects, parts are cheap!! This is gonna be dangerous

Dream come true and the wife even is excited about it lol im so used to buying cheap garbage and having to cobble 2 cars together, this is turn key fun!!!

Is there anything i should address/look out for asap?

Custom tools

Sometimes you need a weird socket, sometimes you need a funny wrench, sometimes you need to make a press for bushings. Made this in an hr with scraps around the shop and some rough drawings on a paper. I eyeballed the shit out of it, it wasn't straight, it broke my broken bottle jack, but it pressed out and in bushings like a $4k tool that wasn't going to show up in an hr.

Have made weird sockets and wrenches, but this was one of the wildest on the spot creations aside from my cv axle driver

What crazy shit have you guys made on the spot?

Was looking for jake oil leaks, #5 seems to be leaking past the rocker. This was also done with the engine cold as was doing a topset, could imagine hot oil would piss past there. (Replaced the rocker later on and still leaking, will need the shaft as it was pretty worn also)

If you like breathing raw diesel straight to the face you can do this test with the egr pipe off
