It's important to establish a good vocabulary...

Had I known the difference between "antidote" and "anecdote", one of my best friends would still be alive.

Camping out in Idaho

Hard to believe this is only 15 miles from Ketchum. Boulder Mountains area. We spent 4 nights out there and left this morning as I didn't want to hang out with a 70% chance of thunderstorms today.

On my way to the 27th oil change

Bought it with 33,000 miles on the odometer. Had the clutches, tcm, actuators and forks done 27,000 miles ago. Has had one set of front brakes. It's on its third set of tires since I've owned it

Yeah the transmission was a $3300 expense. The way that works out, the transmission has cost me 2.5 cents per mile so far. I'm not going to complain.

2021 XLE V6 AWD. Haven't filled up since I got back, so I don't have a total trip mpg. Over the 726 miles I did fuel up for, it averaged 27 mpg. This included some slower forest service road driving that included some pretty decent climbs on the second tank.
