Today Little Nightmares 3 turns a year old, and after all this time did your opinion about this installment change?

After 1 year, how I originally felt this installment definitely changed.

When I first played it I liked it a lot though I couldn't help but also feel a bit unsatisfied, but after 1 year and replaying the main story a couple more times I found that what I originally disliked I no-longer did.

The thing I originally disliked the most was how often my ai companion got themselves stuck or somehow lost on or offscreen. But after replaying it I didn't face this issue anymore.

I do still believe that lost of the boss encounters should have more ambience or chase music to them.

I still like how each chapter is its own distinct environment and color scheme with a different type of feel for each, and that I does feel like where traveling around the nowhere trying to get to our goal.

•Necropolis: My opinions on this chapter hasn't changed. I like how at the color scheme changed from Orange to Gray, and I still believe the Monster Baby was a very cool antagonist and their sound design is still great. Overall my 2nd Favorite chapter.

•Candy Factory: My opinion changed a bit on this chapter, I like it still and though I feel like our encounter with the Supervisor should've been longer. Overall my 3rd Favorite chapter

•Carnival: My opinion have changed quite a but. When I first placed this chapter was my 2nd least favorite chapter because my AI companion made it difficult for me to beat, though I reflecting on it my opinion on the chapter shouldn't have been so screwed by some of the bugs I faced. Now I like it a lot more, and it's still very cool that "The Man in the Purple Suit" from the Sounds of Nightmare appears as the antagonist. Overall my Favorite chapter.

•The Institution: My opinion on this chapter has improved. I found this chapter annoying on my first gameplay but like many of the others I grew to like it a lot more. Otto from the Sounds of Nightmare being manifested in the Nowhere as an impossibly long and large monster was very cool, I would like to see more of the monsters or areas mention in the Sounds of Nigntmares to make an appearance. Overall still my Least Favorite chapter, but the things I originally disliked about it I no-longer dislike other than I tend to not understand where to procede to next but that's 100% a personal issue and not the fault of the game.

Overall, this game went from a 7/10 to 7.5/10 for me.

If the other Breathing Styles had a Dead Calm-like form, what do yall think they be named?

As yall know, in KNY "Dead Calm" is a Water Breathing extremely defensive form created by Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira. Any attack that enters his personal bubbles gets instantly shredded to piece or redirected to hit behind him.

Stone Breathing 3rd Form "Stone Skin" is similar in concept as the users twirls their weapon all around them, smashing anything that enters his area with his flail, chain, and axe thus completely protecting the user from large incoming attacks.

Hear me out "I See The Lights" x an edit of Hakuji & Koyuki.

Agree or Disagree? Or any other music idea you think fits these 2?

Crazy to think that tomorrow will make it 1yr since Infinity Castle part1 released in the U.S. and in Canada.

I remember the feeling of excitedly waiting for part1 to release in theaters near me after it come out on July 18th. Eventually I saw it the day after on Sept 13th.

What Song Best Matches/Represents The Uppermoons Results!! Would y'all have changed anything?

Thank you all for participating!!

I hope yall like the songs assigned to each Uppeqrmoon, and of given the ability, what would y'all have changed?

And if any of the songs seems out-of-place of the characters, it may have been for rule 6 of the previous post that stated "If there's to little suggestions or if all the suggestions are equal in upvotes, than the very first suggestion will be the one selected"

[LAST DAY] What Song Best Matches/Represents Kaigaku?

Days 1-3 was be Kokushibo, Doma, and Akaza. Days 4-6 will be Hantengu, Nakime, and Gyokko. And Days 7-9 will be Gyutaro, Daki, and Kaigaku.

#Day 8 Results "Bury a Friend" by Billie Eilish was the selected song for Daki due to rule #6. I personally don't have any songs I would've suggested for Daki as I currently type this.

#Rules

 1. No Official KNY OST: Voting the characters official theme song would be too obvious, as well as other official soundtracks like openings.

 2. All Non KNY Songs Are Allowed: This rule includes any-to-all soundtracks or songs from other animes, Disney, and songs that do or don't have lyrics.

 3. Songs made by fans for the Uppermoon, while it may feel like cheating, is allowed as long as it isn't 100% a remix of the characters OST.

 4. Please be respectful to one another.

 5. The most upvoted song will be chosen, however if a song out-requests the amounts of upvotes the most voted song, than it will be selected instead.

 6. For the chance that there's very few suggestions (by the time 20-24 hours have passed) of equal votes that were recommended within the same hour, I'll pick the one that was suggested first or which (imo) best fits. However previous suggestions for today characters will be taken into consideration.

 7. With the exception of rule #6, I DON'T control what song wins. Please do not be upset at me for what wins.

[Day 5/9] What Song Best Matches/Represents Nakime

Days 1-3 was be Kokushibo, Doma, and Akaza. Days 4-6 will be Hantengu, Nakime, and Gyokko. And Days 7-9 will be Gyutaro, Daki, and Kaigaku.

#Day 4 Results & Own Idea

"**Radiohead's Creep**" was the most voted (w/ 3 upvotes) for song in yesterday's post, with "It's Everyone Fault But Mine" being the runner-up (w/ 2 requests). Honestly Hantengu was tricky, as I know little songs that would fit his character well.

[Day 4/9] What Song Best Matches/Represents Hantengu (2nd image).

Days 1-3 was be Kokushibo, Doma, and Akaza. Days 4-6 will be Hantengu, Nakime, and Gyokko. And Days 7-9 will be Gyutaro, Daki, and Kaigaku.

#Day 3 Results & Own Idea "Kung Fu Fighting" was the most voted (w/ 10 upvotes) for song in yesterday's post, with "Flamewall" being most requested (w/ 3 requests). If I were to have suggested a song, I would've picked something like Disney's Aladdin "One Jump Ahead" or Pixar's Up "Married Life"

#About Hantengu I'm primarily looking for songs that matches/represents the main body of the clones. Hantengu (Fear) was delusional man who could never admit he was wrong. and constantly spatted out lies that even he tricked himself into believing. Though song suggestions for the clones Sekido (Anger), Karaku (Pleasure), Aizetsu (Sorrow), Urogi (Joy), Zohakuten (Hatred), and Urami (Resentment) are also welcomed.

What's a KNY OST that makes you feel like ascending?

I love all the soundtracks that played during the Infinity Castle 1 movie, with all the soundtracks that played during the Akaza fight being my absolute favorite. It was so awesome hear it in theaters and at home.

I would do that thing where the post has audio, but I don't know how to (if someone who sees this knows how to, feel free sharing how to do so). So i'ma link my favorite specific OST in the post instead.

•Akaza vs Giyuu & Tanjjro: https://youtu.be/zzCTk\_boskE?si=kbGGiGdbRUCb4XAN

Unrelated, but I hope the SpongeBob ascending through the Infinity Castle is somewhat funny, took me 5 min to edit

Fun Fact: Akaza stripes go missing in this scene (NOT A CRITICISM JUST A DETAIL/ERROR I NOTICED BY ACCIDENT!)

For anyone who ends up seeing this post, I am NOT making an animations OR art complaint, nor am I trying to nitpick of any sort-of-way.

I actually find this mistake to be kinda beautiful. This movie art, animation, cgi, and compositing work was absolutely gorgeous, so having only seeing this microscopic error really highlights the love and care put into this movie.

I noticed this small detail on my 4th watch (watched it twice and theaters and twice at home) after having paused to let my dogs outside, and I know it ain't intentional because the next shots of Akaza has him with stripes.

Also while I'm at this, I assume that I still need to spoiler tag this post.

Anyways, I wonder if there is any other fascinating details in the movie I missed. Like how the bridge that Shinobu damaged is still seen broken at the end of the movie. The only other error I think I noticed was Tanjjro legs not being as composite as usual during his speech against Akaza ideology.

A Genya detail I noticed.

In KNY s4 Hashira Training opening, we see all these scars across Genya's body. And when I first saw them 2 years ago, I was like "Genya gets injured a lot on his missions".

But 2 years later tt dawned on me that all these scars (besides the one on his face) were the result of his battle with Aizetsu back in s3/SVA. Which makes sense, as I wouldn't expect an unranked demon to leave scars despite Genya having regenerate abilities.

As seen pic1, the scar on his chest is from when Aizetsu fiercely yanked his spear out diagonally. With all the others scars were the result of Aizetsu "Weeping Spear" attack.

Though, it must be said that not all the scars line up 1:1 with the injuries he got from Aizetsu. With some injuries not even forming into scars.

Many people likely noticed this already, even so it's a nice detail that the design team included.

EDIT: Credits for pic 2 and pic 5 goes to YTuber AnicradFXI. I can't find the YTuber I got pic1, pic3, and pic4 from.

EDIT 2: It turns out that he already had these scars before the Swordsmith Village battle, and they just so happen to match up where he'd later get injured.

Little Nightmares 3: The Backstage DLC review. What I liked and my only major gripe (4th & 5th image).

As yall should know, Little Nightmares 3 just got its first DLC. And while not perfect, with a couple of small issues I experienced while playing, it was actually very enjoyable and the new mechanics introduced were a delight to mess with.

#New Mechanics

Introduced into the Little Nightmares franchise is the light bulb helmet (I assume that what it's name) and as the name implies, you can use to illuminate your direct surrounding which makes it far easier to spot things and more.

However that's not all, as alongside being able to illuminate things, the player can create a bright flash that can stun or destroy enemies. As well as temporarily revealed hidden messages.

#New Characters

How someone likes the 2 new characters will vary based their gameplay experience with them and overall fondness of how the franchise portrays these characters in the first place.

•Dime: One of the 2 selectable protagonist, Dime makes her debut at the very start of the game and assist Low in his journey to find Alone.

•The Puppeteer/The Perfect Lady: The primary antagonist of the new DLC as well as first antagonist in the first half 6th chapter of The Sounds of Nightmares. She would freeze any living creature who interrupted her work in blinding light, though could be stunned back.

#The Only Section I Disliked (skill issue on my part)

Occurring close to the end of the game, Low and Dime have to take back the power cord the Puppeteer took from them. Concept wise, I really like the section as it reminded me of other sections from old LN games. However any time I tried to beat the section, I just couldn't. Mainly because Low (who was my CPU buddy) kept on getting himself captured as got the core back.

#My Opinion

Overall, this was a great addition to the franchise with a lot of enjoyable features. And during my gameplay, there was only one section that almost made me rage quit. And I liked the ending where Dime got trapped inside of a broken mirror dimension, potentially suggesting that's were the next DLC will be taking place.

•8/10: Had a fun time, faced little issues that didn't feel unfair, and only 1 section that did feel unfair.

Anyways, hope yall enjoyed the DLC as much or more than I did. Have a fantastic day (or night).
