Opinions on Ribbit?
What are y'all hoping for her and her relationship with Jax, what do you want her to be like and what do you hope not to happen?

Okay so I know this is going to get a lot of hate and down votes as people despise seeing people critique chat noir but this needs to be talked about imo.
Chat Noir is creepy. He treats Ladybug absolutely TERRIBLY. I cannot stress this enough, but Chat Noir repeatedly disregarding Ladybug's countless attempts to shut him down is NOT romantic, and he is NOT cute. It gets on my nerves that when anybody tries to bring up the fact Chat Noir has flaws and genuinely harasses Ladybug at some points in the show, everybody either shuts you down or immediately brings Marinette into the conversation and rants on about how she's so much worse. It disgusts me how in a show for kids, a guy emotionally manipulates (glaciator, frozer, etc) a 14 year old girl to try and go out with him, and not only is she painted as the bad guy when she rejects him (like in glaciator where she's forced to apologise or whatever), but the fandom goes on about how she treats Chat Noir so badly and says stuff like “What didn't she see in him?” (Which is so weird to me, as a girl is allowed to not be interested and blaming her for it when the show openly does already just rubs me the wrong way).
Not only has she been put into a position like this (which is enough for anyone to go through), but she is actively forced to put up with this on a daily basis because the fate of the world is in her hands and if she doesn't she quite literally risks the world being rewritten and everybody dying. Sure ladybug flirts back sometimes, that's how their friendship works, it's friendly banter. That isn't then an excuse to ask her out repeatedly when she's said no multiple times and then try to manipulate her when again, she rejects him and says she's in love with someone else. One of the saddest parts is, he only really stops in season 5. Not out of respect and basic human decency for Ladybug, but because he has fallen in love with somebody else.
Not to mention, this is a show for KIDS. Sure anyone of any age can watch it, but its target audience is for, what, 5-10 year olds? What kind of message is that gonna send across, that women can't say no? And it's valid to keep harassing her about it afterwards?
I by no means post this to say “you HAVE to hate chat noir!” Or “he's a horrid person who deserves to die!” But he IS creepy and the fandom brushes it off far too much. All I ask is people stop treating him like an all loving saint who can do no wrong, and actually address this issue with not just the character but the fandom who normalises his behaviour as well.
